In the wake of Brexit, veterinary medicine distributors, Acravet, saw opportunity to launch an own brand product range rather than rely solely on imported products. The brief was to create packaging labels that would stand out on the shelf, but remain recognisable and familiar to customers: vets and farmers. We created a visual identity that relies heavily on colour and large iconography to distinguish between products, while ensuring when products are together they look like a set. The current market is flooded with photographic labels, so we decided that iconography, pattern and bold colours would bring something new and exciting to the shelf while still communicating clearly what the product is.
