Approached with completed cover illustrations, the brief was to create an album digipack in keeping with the existing visuals and the country music of Mules & Men. Referencing the Irish landscape and Irish historical culture, a circle motif was introduced, paired with the curveless typeface, Avara by Velvetyne Type Foundry. Echoes of our ancestors carving giant megaliths to worship the sun give the artwork a reinforced cultural narrative and meaning, bringing everything together as one piece.
