This is a new website for TUSLA called Changing Futures to provide information for children of all ages about abuse, foster care and a range of other sensitive issues. Inspiration for the visual language for this site came early from paper-cut image-making. We felt it appropriate if each page of the website represented a different part of Ireland, since it’s a nationwide project, be it rural or city. Each different page is a different colour to distinguish what the user has or hasn’t seen before and a friendly, casual tone of voice make the site playful and relatable to children. This working prototype was then handed over to Piquant Media who continued to work closley alongside the young people in the reseach group to produce the final site.
